King Of Fighters 99

King Of Fighters 99 December 13, 2000 – Fans of the King of Fighters games breathed a sigh of relief when Agetec took it upon themselves to publish King of Fighters ’99 Evolution for the US Dreamcast. The fact that it took this long to get a publisher for a fun 2D fighting game with gameplay depth states something that we’ve been trying to ignore – 2D games are becoming an extinct video game species. Oh sure, Capcom and SNK are two of the main proponents that have supported 2D animation, but even they have dabbled heavily into the 3D fighting market, and not with quite the success of their legendary 2D games. Of course, 3D visuals are more attractive to the new generation of gamers than hand-drawn quality animation and that partly explains why both Capcom and SNK are making more and more 3D fighting games. And with SNK, it’s not that great

of an idea; with the shakeup in the company structure and a history of making mediocre 3D fighting games (i.e. Samurai Shodown 64, eek!), SNK’s 3D abilities are average at best. So, I leave the question to you readers: how important are 2D games to you? For me, I consider it a blessing whenever I get a chance to play a solid 2D fighting game. And even though it has flaws here and there, I definitely would go out and get King of Fighters’ 99 Evolution, not only because it’s a fun fighting game, but to keep 2D alive and maybe get even a few SNK 2D fighters

Differences from Metal Slug 2
game for pc download full version
* Much of the music has been slightly remixed or altered.
* Many stages had the time of day changed. Instead of being simply at day or at night, the stages can take place at dusk, twilight, or sunset.
* It is now possible for the player character to become fat by collecting food items in every stage after Mission 2, while it was previously only possible in Mission 4.
* There is less slowdown than in Metal Slug 2.
* All levels contain an increased enemy count and changed enemy placement as well as enemy characters themselves being changed, including altered boss placement.
* Vehicle types and locations are usually changed.
* There are generally more power ups, prisoners, and items (particularly food), which are often hidden and must be shot to obtain.
* Many environmental elements have altered reactions to being shot, such as exploding with unexpected results or randomly spewing out items or enemies.
* Heavier damage versions are available for the heavy machine gun, flameshot, shotgun, laser rifle, and rocket launcher. When compared with their normal counterparts, each big/super weapon deals more damage, has a more "fierce" appearance, and has a wider (or longer) area of impact. If the player happens to be fat while using these heavier weapons, a new appearance takes on and the player does even more damage.
* Several new weapons were added to the game: Stones, Iron Lizard, Enemy Chaser, Super Grenade, and Drop Shot. A new Metal Slug, the Golden Metal Slug, was added to Mission 3.
* The original art for Metal Slug is shown at the end of the game while the credits are rolling, instead of a black screen used in Metal Slug 2.

Metal Slug X was ported to the Neo Geo AES (May 1999) and the PlayStation (January 2001). The PlayStation version was released in North America and the PAL region by Agetec. The PlayStation version features the same Combat School mode previously featured in the Neo Geo CD versions of the first two games

Metal Slug 4

free pc game download full vresion Metal Slug 4
Download Metal Slug 4 Full version Metal Slug 4 (メタルスラッグ4?) is a run and gun video game for the Neo-Geo console/arcade platform created by SNK. It was released in 2002 for the MVS arcade platform and is the fourth game in the Metal Slug series. 2 years later, Playmore published Metal Slug 4.

Metal Slug 4 retains the same gameplay as previous titles, with the addition of some new enemies, bosses, weapons, several new vehicles and a new bonus combo system. It was later ported to Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2 as a separate game in Japan and Europe, and along with Metal Slug 5 as a compilation in North America.

A bonus scoring system was added that allows the player to be rewarded depending on how many enemies are killed in the time allotted. The time allotted is determined from the type of emblem that is picked up. A time meter will appear on the top of the screen, and if the player lives through the end of the level, they will be awarded bonus points for badges that represent feats accomplished. Eri and Tarma were replaced with Nadia and Trevor.

[edit] Story

One year after the events of Metal Slug 3, the world is trembling under the new threat of a mysterious but deadly cyber virus that threatens to attack and destroy any nation’s military computer system. With Tarma and Eri unable to help due to their own assignments in the matter, Marco and Fio are called in to investigate the situation and are joined by two newcomers, Nadia and Trevor. In their investigation, the group discovers that a terrorist organization known as Amadeus is behind the nefarious plot and that they head into battle against Amadeus’ forces, hoping to destroy the cyber virus before it gets the chance to wipe out the entire world’s military computer system.

Halfway through the game’s story mode, the player is confronted by one who they presume to be Morden, however in the final stage they find an underground facility where Terminator – like doubles of Morden are being manufactured. Allen O’ Neil, (who has appeared numerous times throughout the series) fights the player in this stage for the very last time, and is also revealed to be a machine like the Morden doubles before he is destroyed and the player confronts the leader of Amadeus.

[edit] New features

* Double Heavy Machine Guns [2H]: The stronger version of the Heavy Machine Gun [H] in the previous series. Allow players to carry two submachine guns which cause the damage of 1 per shot and with more rapid firing than Heavy Machine Guns. However, the 2Hs are very rare in the game and only have 200 shots like the Heavy Machine Gun.

* Bradley: First appeared in MS2 as an enemy rocket shooting vehicle, it is equipped with powerful rocket shots and a vulcan cannon like the slugs, players can use it after killing the enemy soldier inside it. However, this vehicle has a very short jumping range and crouches much slower than the other vehicles, and will not become temporarily invincible after receiving an attack from the enemy.

* Metal Crow: First appeared in MS1 as the “Melty Honey” under the control of the Rebel soldiers. It will appear with Bradley in stage two if under two players mode. It is equipped with a blade-covered shield that shreds enemies, and also enables it to take five shots before it is destroyed. Also in stage 5.

* Crawler: Mechanical version of the sub-human mutants from Metal Slug 2/X which appears in stage four. Much like the Camel Slug in the previous two games, it provides no protection to the player, but has a slightly better jumping ability and also does not harm the player if it touches a rolling bomb.

* Forklift Truck: It will appear in stage 5 with the Metal Crow. Like the Drill Slug from MS3, it can “jack up” if the player presses the jump button during the onboard in the Forklift Truck. It will stab the enemy with the fork at the front in the player presses the bomb button. Its fork can shred the enemy also. The Forklift Truck does not have a vulcan cannon; rather, the player uses whatever weapon they have. The player is always exposed to enemy attacks.

* Monkey Transformation: In the underground path of stage 1 and the final stage, there are scientists with rifles. These aren’t loaded with bullets but a special chemical shot, that transforms characters into gibbons which are rather like the monkey Utan in Metal Slug 3. Players gain a much stronger jumping ability and the ability to hang on the bars over their heads, which saves them from most of the attacks from the enemy. But they can only fire a small gun which is similar to the Heavy Machine Gun. Players can be transformed back into human form by picking up an antidote dropped by scientists. This transformation is the only one in the series with an animation for returning to human form, in which the player falls asleep as a monkey then promptly wakes up as a human. Players who are hit by the chemical shot while in monkey form will die.

[edit] Development history

Metal Slug 4 is a product of a joint-venture between both Mega Enterprise, a Korean game publishing and distribution company, and Noise Factory, a Japanese company focusing on creating musical scores.

When SNK declared bankruptcy, Mega Enterprise still retained its right to distribute several of SNK’s titles within Korea. Mega went a step further by acquiring the authorization to continue to produce several of SNK’s titles, primarily the Metal Slug series, which was very popular in South Korea

The King Of Fighter 2003

The King of Fighters 2003 game free for pc is a 2003 competitive fighting game produced by SNK Playmore for the Neo Geo arcade and home platform. It is the tenth game in The King of Fighters series and the first KOF game to become a tag tournament as well as the first one to be published by SNK Playmore. It was also the final KOF game developed for Neo Geo hardware, which has been the primary platform for the series since the first game in the series, KOF '94. The game was ported to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The PS2 and Xbox versions were released in North America in a two-in-one bundle with the preceding game in the series, KOF 2002. It was the last officially-licensed game to be released for the Neo Geo system

The 3-on-3 Team Battle Format is used once again, but instead of the round-based tournament-style format, in which one member of a team replaces a defeated teammate for the next round, the game uses a Multi-Shift format that allows player to change characters during the middle of battle. When "Change OK" sign is displayed above the Power Gauge, the player can do a Quick Shift and change characters immediately, or perform a Switch-Off Attack against the opponent, which will consume one Power Gauge stock.

The game also features a Tactical Leader System, in which one of member of the team is designated by the player to the Leader, giving the character access to an exclusive move known as the Leader Super Special Move (in addition to the regular Super Special Moves), which usually requires two Power Gauge stocks to perform.

As in the previous game in the series, the player's Power Gauge can hold up to three stocks at the beginning of a match. When one team loses one of its members, the maximum capacity of Power Gauge stocks is increased by one, giving the losing team a handicap against the opposing team.
Plot

KOF 2003 begins a new story arc following the conclusion of the NESTS arc in KOF 2001. This story arc centers around a new lead character named Ash Crimson. Unlike the previous protagonists of the series, Kyo Kusanagi and K′, Ash is a villainous character with a self-serving agenda, seeking to steal the powers of the Three Divine Vessels for himself. He is joined by Shen Woo, a brawler from Shanghai, and Duo Lon, a member of Flying Brigands, as the new Hero Team.

Several characters from past KOF games return, while some of them are gone and replaced by new characters (including characters from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, making their first appearances in the KOF series). Terry Bogard now wears his outfit from Mark of the Wolves, while Tizoc replaces Andy Bogard as a member of the Fatal Fury Team. The Outlaw Team is formed, composed of Gato and former '97 Special Team members Ryuji Yamazaki and Billy Kane. Jhun Hoon returns as a member of the Korean Team, replacing Choi Bounge, while King returns to the series as a member of the Women Fighters Team with Blue Mary and Mai Shiranui. Athena Asamiya participates without her usual Psycho Soldier teammates, this time as a member of the High School Girls Team with Hinako Shijo and new character Malin. And Benimaru Nikaido gets a new look and forms his own team composed of Goro Daimon and Shingo Yabuki. Kyo Kusanagi is also given a new look, and returns along with Iori Yagami and Chizuru Kagura as the Three Sacred Treasures Team

The rebellion orchestrated by General Morden to bring about a new global regime is now ancient history, and order and peace has begun to return to the world. Morden, brought back into power, was attempting another coup d’état, but government forces got wind of the plot beforehand and pre-empted the impending assault. Instrumental in squashing Morden’s rebel forces, Marco and Tarma of the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force are ordered to lead the team after their earlier requests for resignation were denied. Although General Morden has been written off as “missing” by his followers, they have hidden themselves throughout the world, and Marco and Tarma’s abilities and experience are seen as a necessity to destroy remaining rebel strongholds, one by one. Throughout the furious fighting against the holdouts, Marco and Tarma cannot help but suspect Morden’s involvement in this new evil plan for world domination.

Meanwhile, the SPARROWS, a special strike force within the government intelligence agency, have come across a series of strange events running parallel to the Peregrine’s pursuit of General Morden. From trivial abductions of livestock to the disappearance of government officials and the appearance of freakishly large creatures, numerous occurrences with nothing in common point to one grim possibility. General Morden is not the only menace to worry about. Eventually it is learned that the alien menace that appeared in Metal Slug 2 Metal Slug X have returned. After defeating what appears to be General Morden, it turns to really be an alien in disguise, while the real Morden was their prisoner (again). The aliens abduct the character the player uses, and another character takes his her place. Once again, an ad-hoc alliance is formed to combat the external threat, with Rebel Army supplying a rocket ship that allows the player to break into the aliens’ mothership called Rugname. After a long battle throughout the ship’s interior, the Rugname starts to collapse from all the damage. After destroying the ship’s core, the player must now through green clones of the captured character and free that character. Once the captured character is freed, the clones start to die, but some have turned into zombies. The player manages to escape, but is confronted by the aliens’ leader, Rootmars, when falling through the Earth’s atmosphere. Rootmars is defeated and is left for dead in the ocean. Upon seeing Morden and his men celebrating, the player’s character throws his/her weapon into the water in disgust.

pc Game

The gameplay mechanics are the same as previous Metal Slug games. New for Metal Slug 3, however, is the branching path system; in most missions, there are forking paths for the player to choose from, each with their own obstacles, and of varying length and difficulty. All paths eventually lead to the same boss battle, but the player may have different equipment, and may have rescued more or fewer hostages depending on their choices.

In addition to the mummy form from Metal Slug 2/X, other forms are taken by the player in various circumstances:

* When doused with infectious material, the player becomes a zombie. While medication is available to reverse the effect, the zombified player can make use of a devastating vomit attack that covers most of the forward area. The player cannot crouch, jump high, or make use of heavy weaponry or vehicles, but is immune to any attacks from the Rebels (except the zombified Rebels).

* Underwater, the player equips a SCUBA apparatus with a bubble helmet. Rather than grenades, the player uses a bomb-launching system. The ordnance is affected by gravity, but not so much by water.

* Should the player lose their air vehicle, they rely on a backup jet pack. They can fire seeking missiles from the pack.

* Without the Astro Slug, the player also depends on a jet pack, as well as a breathing apparatus (but not a spacesuit, curiously). Explosives are contained in the pack, when fired it explodes in a massive fireball.

While no new weapons were added, Metal Slug 3 contains new vehicles for player use:

* The Slug Driller can be found in the undergroung part of level 4. When the player moves it they can activate its drill mowing down every enemy in front of him/her. It can also extend the drill which is much more powerful. Additionally, it can change its height making the player unreachable to enemies.

* The Slug Mariner gives some added firepower for those underwater. It fires high-mass rounds which sink to the bottom, as well as torpedoes.

* The Elephant Slug is a hulking elephant strapped with a Vulcan cannon. By picking up a Battery or a Chili Pepper, the elephant can fire a bolt of lightning or a fireball from its trunk, respectively.

* The Ostrich Slug is reminiscent of the Camel Slug. It is even faster, can jump farther, and can turn around. (However, doing so makes the rider momentarily vulnerable to enemy fire.)

* The lv Rebel Armor is a Rebel-produced vehicle, but can be captured and used by the player. It comes equipped with a heavy machine gun, which is interchangeable with other handheld weapons. (Unlike the Slugs, the Rebel Armor’s main armament has limited ammo.) It also has a grenade launcher, a melee claw attack, and jump jets. The other player can stand on top of the Rebel Armor, and can receive a boost to extreme heights.

* The Slug Copter appears along with the Slug Flyer in the airborne portion of the Final Mission. Its Vulcan cannon can fire in all directions, unlike the Flyer. It is also armed with gravity bombs.

* The Astro Slug is used jointly by the players and the Rebel forces, when it is revealed that General Morden is missing. Booster rockets carry it into space, where the player makes use of its weaponry. Like the Rebel Armor, the Astro Slug can make use of infantry weapons through ports on its sides. It fires rockets as a secondary weapon.

Console extras

On the console versions, ported by Playmore, once the arcade mode has been beaten, there are two additional mini-games: ‘Storming the UFO Mothership’ and ‘Fat Island’.

Storming the UFO Mothership

This mode allows the player to control one of the soldiers of General Morden, to rescue fellow soldiers and attack the UFO forces. The player can choose between the Riot Shield Soldier, Bazooka Soldier, and Grenade Soldier. The player is given a single life; this is balanced by the number of reinforcements from fellow soldiers. Only one player can play on Storming the UFO Mothership. There is no two-player mode.

Fat Island

Two players compete to gain the most weight in a limited amount of time by eating various foods. They start out with 100 kg and must finish with 200. If players lose enough weight, they will return to normal size and then to a mummy state.

Xbox 360

At the 2007 Tokyo Game Show, it was confirmed that Metal Slug 3 would be released on Xbox Live Arcade on January 2, 2008 for 800 Microsoft Points free The game features updated graphics and co-op online gameplay, but it does not include the extra modes from the PS2 and Xbox releases
