King Of Fighters 99

King Of Fighters 99 December 13, 2000 – Fans of the King of Fighters games breathed a sigh of relief when Agetec took it upon themselves to publish King of Fighters ’99 Evolution for the US Dreamcast. The fact that it took this long to get a publisher for a fun 2D fighting game with gameplay depth states something that we’ve been trying to ignore – 2D games are becoming an extinct video game species. Oh sure, Capcom and SNK are two of the main proponents that have supported 2D animation, but even they have dabbled heavily into the 3D fighting market, and not with quite the success of their legendary 2D games. Of course, 3D visuals are more attractive to the new generation of gamers than hand-drawn quality animation and that partly explains why both Capcom and SNK are making more and more 3D fighting games. And with SNK, it’s not that great

of an idea; with the shakeup in the company structure and a history of making mediocre 3D fighting games (i.e. Samurai Shodown 64, eek!), SNK’s 3D abilities are average at best. So, I leave the question to you readers: how important are 2D games to you? For me, I consider it a blessing whenever I get a chance to play a solid 2D fighting game. And even though it has flaws here and there, I definitely would go out and get King of Fighters’ 99 Evolution, not only because it’s a fun fighting game, but to keep 2D alive and maybe get even a few SNK 2D fighters

Boulder Dash XL

Boulder Dash XL free pc game full version Boulder Dash, originally released in 1984 for Atari 8-bit computers [1], is a series of computer games released for the Apple II, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and ColecoVision home computers, and later ported to the NES, BBC Micro and Acorn Electron, PC, Amstrad CPC, Amiga and many other platforms. It was created by Peter Liepa and Chris Gray, and on October 28, 1983, acquired and later published by First Star Software, which still owns the rights to the game. Boulder Dash inherits numerous gameplay similarities from the earlier 1982 arcade game The Pit, by Centuri.

The game's protagonist is called "Rockford". He must dig through caves collecting gems and diamonds and reach the exit within a time limit, while avoiding various types of dangerous creatures as well as obstacles like falling rocks and the constant danger of being crushed or trapped by an avalanche, or killed by an underground explosion.

The Commodore 64 version of the first game was also re-released on the Virtual Console in Europe on September 19, 2008, and in North America on June 1, 2009
Game objects
Rockford, left, drops a series of boulders on a series of butterflies. The butterflies explode into diamonds, which fall down the shafts. Commodore 64 version.

Rockford is the hero of the game, the character controlled by the player. His goal is to collect diamonds and avoid contact with monsters and falling rocks.
Dirt and Space are the two basic components of the playfield. Dirt can serve for blocking and/or suspending objects, while space allows them to move freely. Rockford clears dirt as he moves, creating space.
Walls are the delimiters of the level. Two basic types exist, destructible (which looks like brick, and can be removed with explosions) and indestructible (made of titanium and from which the edge of the level is usually made).
The exit is the final goal Rockford must reach after collecting enough diamonds. It is disguised as an indestructible wall, and reveals itself after the required number of diamonds is collected.
Rocks are probably the most commonly encountered elements of the game. Upon removing the dirt from beneath them, they fall until they reach solid ground again. A falling rock can not only crush enemies, but also Rockford as well. Rocks can also "roll off" of other rocks and indestructible walls if there is space beside them, and Rockford can also push single rocks sideways if there is nothing else in the way.
Diamonds are the items Rockford must collect in order to open the exit of a level. They otherwise act like boulders.
Fireflies are one of the common enemies in the game. When next to a wall, they follow it to their left (clockwise); otherwise they circle around a point in a 2x2 area. When a rock or diamond is dropped on them, they explode in a 3x3 square, destroying anything in that area except indestructible walls and leaving empty space behind. They also explode when Rockford touches them, killing both themselves and Rockford.
Butterflies are similar to fireflies, with two important differences. They follow the wall to their right (anti-clockwise) and when they explode, they leave behind nine diamonds arranged in a 3x3 square (unless one of these spaces happens to contain an indestructible wall).
Amoeba is one of the most unpredictable elements of the game. It grows at a random rate, by expanding into adjacent space and dirt. The level settings include a duration after which the amoeba's growth rate will dramatically increase. The amoeba is not directly dangerous to Rockford, although it is capable of enclosing and trapping him, or blocking him from reaching the exit. If the amoeba grows too large, it will solidify into boulders, and if it is stopped from growing any more, it will crystallize into diamonds.
Slime looks similar to the amoeba (colored blue instead of green), but it works completely differently. Slime does not grow, and does not cause enemies to explode on contact. Its functionality is revealed when dropping a rock or a diamond on top of it; slime has a permeability rate which defines how long the item will remain sitting on top of it before falling through. This happens in quite a sudden and random manner, making the game rely on improvising even more.
Expanding walls look and act just like destructible walls, with one difference: when possible, they expand horizontally, often trapping the player or enemies. Expanding walls are made out of themselves - blowing a hole in the middle of a row causes it to close in again almost immediately.
Magic Walls look and act just like destructible walls except that when a boulder is dropped on a magic wall, it falls through and turns into a diamond. Conversely a diamond dropped on a magic wall turns into a boulder. If there is no empty space underneath the magic wall, a boulder or diamond dropped onto it will simply disappear. The level settings specify the amount of time that magic walls will "mill", i.e. turn rocks into diamonds and vice versa; after which they deactivate, and any more rocks or diamonds that fall onto them will simply disappear
Boulder Dash series

The official Boulder Dash games started in 1984 with the original home computer title, and continue to be published by First Star.

Boulder Dash (1984) – The original Boulder Dash was published on multiple home computer and consoles.
Boulder Dash (1984) – It was then released on arcade console by Exidy. This version was almost identical, but with coins buying 30 seconds of game time.[2] Historically, this was the first home computer title to be converted to an arcade console.[2]
Boulder Dash (1985 – Arcade) – In 1985 Comptiq released another arcade version on Data East's "DECO Cassette System", with improved graphics but a reduced display grid on a vertical monitor.[2]
Boulder Dash II (1985) – The second home format was published under several different titles; Rockford's Riot on the MSX, Rockford's Revenge on the C64 (with the former used with the ZX Spectrum's marketing, but the latter used on the cassette inlay). The second release in Japan was titled Champion Boulder Dash.,[2] but it's not a port of the western game.[3]
Boulder Dash 3 (1986 – Apple II, C64, Spectrum, PC) – Monochrome space-themed graphics and poorly designed levels made this a critical failure.[2]
Boulder Dash Construction Kit (1986 – Apple II, C64, Spectrum, Atari 8-bit computers, Atari ST) – This release included a small number of levels, but was titled Boulder Dash IV – The Game for the Spectrum re-release.[2]
Rockford (1988 – Arcade, Amiga, Atari ST, Arcade, Spectrum,[4] Amstrad, C64)[2] - Rockford was originally a licensed arcade game produced by Arcadia Systems, and later converted to various home computer formats
Boulder Dash Part 2 (1990 – Arcade)[2]
Boulder Dash (1990 - Game Boy)[2]
Boulder Dash (1990 - NES)[2]
Boulder Dash EX (2002 – Game Boy Advance) - This one has a new "EX mode" and "Classic mode" which is a direct port of the 1984 PC version.[2]
Boulder Dash Xmas 2002 Edition (2002 – PC)[2]
GemJam Gold (2003 – PC) – The game's credits claim this is based on Boulder Dash, and is licensed by First Star.[2]

the king of fighters 97 and 98

download game free pc neogeo
the king of fighters 97
the king of fighters 98The King of Fighters ’97 is a 1997 fighting game produced by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade and home console. It is the fourth game in The King of Fighters series. It was ported to the Neo-Geo CD, as well as the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn in Japan only. The Saturn requires the same 1MB RAM cartridge utilized by the previous game
KOF ’97 follows the same format as the previous KOF games, but introduces two distinct playing styles which the player can select before choosing their team: Advance and Extra. Advance mode is based on the previous game in the series, KOF ’96, but features a revamped Power Gauge. Instead of charging the Power Gauge, the Power Gauge is now filled whenever the player strikes the opponent or by performing Special Moves. The player can stock up to three Power Gauges. The player can use one stock of the Power Gauge to perform a Super Special Move or enter a “MAX” mode, in which the player’s defensive and offensive strength are increased. Performing a Super Special Move while in MAX mode will make the player perform a more powerful Super Special Move.
Extra mode is based on the first two games in the series, KOF ’94 and KOF ’95. Like in those games, the player fills the Power Gauge by charging it or defending against the opponent’s attacks. After the gauge is filled, the player enters MAX mode and like in Advance, their character’s offense and defense will increase. The player can only perform Super Special Moves in MAX mode or when the life gauge is near empty and flashing red. When the player performs a Super mode in MAX mode while the life gauge is flashing red, then the Super move will be even more powerful. The Emergency Roll maneuver from KOF ’96 used in Advance mode is replaced by the side-step from KOF ’94 KOF ’95

Despite the events at the end of the previous game, the KOF tournament was a huge commercial success and sparked a worldwide fighting craze. Within a few months of the tournament ending, various large corporations had held smaller KOF tournament qualifiers and constructed special KOF stadiums around the world, building the excitement up for the next tournament. News of the tournament spread through every form of media and fans and new fighters from across the globe come to watch the preliminary matches.
All of the characters from the previous game return, with the exception of the Boss Team (which was disbanded after its first appearance), Kasumi Todoh (who went off to search for her father), and Mature and Vice (who were killed by Iori Yagami after he was possessed by the Riot of Blood at the conclusion of the previous pc game
Chizuru Kagura, the sub-boss in the previous game, takes Kasumi’s place in the Women Fighters Team, while Geese Howard’s underling Billy Kane, who previously participated in The King of Fighters ’95 tournament, returns to join forces with female agent Blue Mary and wanted felon Ryuji Yamazaki (both from Fatal Fury 3) to form the unlikely “’97 Special Team”. Iori returns as a Team Edit character along with Shingo Yabuki, a high school student who patterns his fighting style after his idol and reluctant mentor Kyo Kusanagi. An alternative version from Kyo with his pre-KOF ’96 moveset also appears as a hidden character.
Iori and Leona will fight as sub-bosses characters in the Riot of the blood curse depending of which characters the player is using. A team of all new characters also appears in the form the “New Faces Team”, consisting of bandmates Yashiro Nanakase, Shermie, and Chris. The New Face Team will be revealed to be the last three servants from Orochi during the arcade mode. Additionally, they fight as sub-bosses characters having enhanced abilities than their common forms. Once they are beaten, Orochi will possess Chris’s body to fight as the last boss character.
Development
In order to decide who would become the members of the ’97 Special Team, three polls were conducted by the videogames journals Weekly Famitsu, Gamest and Neo Geo Freak, in which readers voted who was the character they wanted to see in the team. The Neo Geo Freak’s winner was Billy Kane and Famitsu’s winner was Ryuji Yamazaki. Blue Mary was first in the Gamest poll, winning to Duck King from the Fatal Fury series who was second. Additionally, the three journal created a team, which players can view an image of them after beating the game in the Japanese version. The special team created by the Neo Geo Freak’s staff was a team of fire wielders: Billy, Kyo Kusanagi, and Mai Shiranui. The Gamest’s team created was composed of Terry Bogard, Blue Mary and Joe Higashi, while Famitsu created a team composed of Chang Koehan, Choi Bounge and Ryuji Yamazaki.[1] Although Blue Mary had already two designs in the Fatal Fury series at this point (her original Fatal Fury 3 design and her Real Bout Special design), her designer wanted to use her Fatal Fury 3 design as he liked it more.[2] In order to have all of the eight servants from Orochi confirmed by this game, Yamazaki was chosen to be the new member as the staff noted him to be a good villain and liked that he was similar to a snake (as the ancient Orochi was a giant snake). In order to adapt him to KOF, the game planner had to provide new moves to Yamazaki. The new moves were initially noted to be failures, but designers later thought of them as successful.[3]
The New Faces Team was created to offset the remaining top three characters. Their members were developed to be the Hero Team’s counterparts; Chris manipulates fire like Kyo, Shermie uses lightings like Benimaru Nikaido and Yashiro Nanakase is a giant man like Goro Daimon.[4] The plot element of Chris acting as Orochi’s new body was developed since initial stages of production, but the staff had already though of using other idea.[5] At the inception of production, the plan was for Chris to use the “Flame of Darkness (Black Flame),” but due to difficulties of seeing the black flame in the screen it was changed to the purple ones.[6] The final boss character, Orochi, was first meant to be “a buck-naked Chris” fighting with a shining energy ball. However, it was opted to his current design after developers made a survey in which there were only two votes in favour of the first design. His design codename was “Chief”, but several people were against of giving him the name of “Orochi”.[7]
Iori Yagami in his Orochi form was originally meant to be the final boss of the game after the player beats the New Faces Team in their Orochi forms. However, it later decided to make Orochi Iori the mid-boss with Orochi becoming the final boss and the New Faces Team the sub-bosses.[8] Series’ flagship director, Toyohisa Tanabe, states that the staff was initially reluctant to add this version of Iori to the series’ roster—worried about fans’ reactions—but did so to add more impact to the Orochi saga’s climax. He was particularly pleased to see surprised reactions from female fans to this form during KOF ’97′s location testing.[9] After deciding Iori as the sub-boss character, developers also were focused in adding Leona as an alternative sub-boss character if players were already using Iori in the game. As such, several advertisements added such as televisions broadcasts sent were given as message to the player about a “fork in the game” to give hints about Orochi Leona.[10]
In The King of Fighters ’96, several moves from Kyo were changed in order to adapt him to the new game system. However, the original moveset was still popular between gamers and as such, an alternative version from Kyo was added to KOF ’97.[11] The introduction of this version was noted to be “a hit” within gamers, the staff kept adding new alternative versions of other characters to the sequels. This later led to the creation of the Kyo clones (Kyo-1 and Kyo-2) from The King of Fighters ’99.[12]
Releases
The King of Fighters ’97 was first released in Japanese arcades on July 28, 1997. It was ported to the Neo Geo and Neo Geo CD on September 25, 1997 and October 30, 1997, respectively. A PlayStation version was also released on May 28, 1998. The Sega Saturn version was published on March 26, 1998 and it requires the same 1MB RAM cartridge utilized by the previous game. A “Saturn Best Collection” was released on October 1, 1998, adding a new cover and a lower price.[13] It was also compilated in The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga in 2008 for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Wii.[14] During its release week, the Sega Saturn port of the game sold 94,327 copies in Japan. As of 2004, the sales went to
The King of Fighters ’98 (commonly abbreviated as KOF ’98) is a 1998 fighting game released by SNK released for the Neo Geo arcade and home console. It is the fifth game in The King of Fighters series. This installment was advertised by SNK as a “special edition” of the series, as it featured most of the characters who appeared in the previous games (from KOF ’94 to ’97), regardless of whether the character was killed off in the series’ ongoing storyline (which would resumed in the following game in the series with a new story arc).
Ports of KOF’ 98 were released for the Neo-Geo CD and the PlayStation. A Dreamcast version also released titled The King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999, which featured much of the stages remade in 3D. The game was also remade for the PlayStation 2 under the name of The King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match which expanded the number of playable characters.
As KOF ’98 did not feature a storyline, the SNK staff took this opportunity to add Rugal (who died in KOF ’95) as well as various alternate versions from various characters to the game. KOF ’98 has been commonly praised by several video game publications as the best KOF from the series due to its graphics and gameplay. Ultimate Match, however, was criticized for how similar it is to KOF ’98

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs

download game free pc mustapha full virsion

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs The Arcade Game (known in Japan as Cadillacs Kyouryuu Shin Seiki) is a 1992 arcade game released by Capcom. It is a beat 'em up based upon the comic Xenozoic Tales which was created by Mark Schultz in the late eighties. A TV series made after the game was released, though it wasn't a major success, and the Capcom game didn't have any relation with it as it was based entirely on the comic series. Not to be confused with the console and computer game Cadillacs and Dinosaurs: The Second Cataclysm made by Rocket Science Games but based on the same

game mustapha mostafa mustafa mostapha moustapha moustafa

Attributes: The "powerhouse" of the game, Mess equals to Mike Haggar from Final Fight series. Despite being slow he is the most powerful playable character in the game. His Diving Body Slam is powerful but not so functional, due to his poor jump ability. Players shall make good use of his throws, not only because they are especially powerful, but also to protect himself from enemy attacks, as all characters are invulnerble when performing a throw

Regular enemies

As in a typical beat' em up game, there are nasty enemies to oppose the players, described below.

* Bikers (Gneiss, Ferris and Driver) - the most basic enemies of the game, they are usually dim-witted, attacking mostly with punches, kicks and rarely with a flying kick. They also often drop several firearms when defeated. Gneiss enemies can appear on their "powered-up" motorcycles trying to run over the player. Gneiss wear blue with grey (complete with riding goggles), Ferris wear orange with grey, Driver wear black with green (having more life than his fellow friends).

Alternative names in Japanese version: Risk for Gneiss, Astro for Ferris and D.D. for Driver.

* Midgets (Punk and Thug) - very annoying small enemies. They are somewhat harder to deal with (and thus can be a real pain for most players) due to their smaller stature and bigger aggressiveness. They jump a lot and attack with fast punches and kicks, shoulder butts, jump kicks and even throwing grenades (for Punk) and TNT bundles (for Thug) - which they can drop when killed. Punk wears blue pants while Thug wears pumpkin pants.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Nitro for Punk and Turbo for Thug.

* Knife Men (Blade and Razor) - cruel guys skilled with butchery knives. They can attack both disarmed (with simple punches) and with their trademark knives - which they can use to stab or swipe, execute a jumping downward stab attack, throw them (the player can hit incoming knives to deflect them, thus allowing their use) and use a running swipe attack (which has good priority and shall not be confronted). These guys constantly drop their knives when killed. Blade wears yellow with navy blue and blonde hair, Razor wears lime green with graffiti and tanned skin.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

* Fat Guys (Black Elmer, Hammer Terhune and Wrench Terhune (commonly Blk Elmer, Hammer T. and Wrench T.)) - powerful obese enemies that can deal good damage if the player is not careful. These former American football players attack with basic punches and kicks, with addition of running shoulder charges and a painful jumping hip smash. In some occasions they will also disturb sleeping Shivats in order to wake them into rampage. They usually bring food in their pockets and smoke cigars when idle. Blk Elmer wears purple with blue clothing, Hammer T. wears gold with red clothing and Wrench T. wears white with green clothing.

Alternative names in Japanese version: James for Blk Elmer.

* Hunters (Poacher Joe (commonly Poacher J.), Gutter and Skinner) - the Black Marketeer's most favored gunmen, they are responsible for killing and selling dinosaur leather and bones for luxurious collectors at extorsive prices. These guys wear torn-down sweatshirts, near-discolored pants, climbing boots and hunting rifles (though they rarely fire them, and even more rare they drop their rifles when defeated). Their attacks include combos of rifle smacks with kicks, a rolling rifle smash, a hopping kick and the rare rifle shot. Gutter sports yellow sweatshirt, Poacher J has spinach-green and Skinner wears papaya-red.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Saturn for Gutter and Cobra for Skinner.

* Lash Terhune (commonly Lash T.) - tall built guys with leather clothing and a huge steel mace attached to a long rope. Lash T. has basic attacks with knee and his mace, plus a long-range mace fling that deals good damage against any careless victim, friend or foe. He also chews bubblegum after flinging his mace.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

* Walther - a minor variant of Vice Terhune (Stage 1 Boss), these guys lead the Black Marketeer's poachers in their incursions for killing dinosaurs. He makes his debut in Stage 3 and appears frequently through the game. This enemy has the same actions and skills of the default first boss, but is incredibly harder to fight. Sometimes, Walther drops his handgun when defeated.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Colt.

* Bludge - this Blanka-looking creature is a human-reptile hybrid created by Dr. Simon Fessenden himself. Being a reptilian, this foe is a formidable combination of strength and agility, possessing other characteristics such as long jumping kick, diving claw slash and acid spits. He can also grab the player with his tongue and slowly drain his/her health unless the player breaks free. Bludge can also eat objects laying on the ground to prevent their further use in battle (however, if he is killed quickly, the object can be recovered from his stomach before digestion).

Alternative names in Japanese version: Phantom.

* Tyrog 2 - just like Walther, this being is a lesser variant of Tyrog (Stage 6 Boss), and is fought only once (in the first scene of Stage 8). This hideous creature combines every action from all of Tyrog's 3 phases. Being a minor-level enemy, Tyrog 2 is easier to kill.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs can be neutral or enemies in the game. When neutral they are in green color; when enraged or attacking they turn into red color; when "defeated" they return to green color and stop attacking, thus moving off screen. Having no allegiances, dinosaurs will attack anyone in their vicinity, player or enemy.

* Rock Hopper (commonly R. Hopper) - a kind of velociraptor. He is usually friendly until being attacked, and his claws and teeth are viciously powerful.

* Mack - a triceratops whose only attack is a painful charging headbutt. It's best to beat him when he stops charging.

* Zeke - a pteranodon which only uses airborne attacks fitting to his winged nature. He can be somewhat hard to hit. But, an easy way to spot it is by standing on his shadow, right below him, and strike right as it goes close to the ground.

* Shivat - a Tyrannosaurus-Rex, this 12 feet (3.7 m) behemoth is commonly found sleeping but will wake up in a rampage if disturbed by fat guys hitting him. Shivat has tremendously powerful biting attacks and causes minor ground shakes when walking. It is by far the hardest dinosaur to be calmed down, so players are advised not to let a Shivat being awakened.

Stage bosses

As is customary with beat' em up games, there is a boss at the end of every level. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs has 8 levels and of course 8 different bosses.

Hannah Dundee fights Vice Terhune (along with a Rock Hopper), the first boss of the game.

* Vice Terhune (commonly Vice T.) - the boss of City In The Sea (Level 1)

* The Butcher (Atomic in Japanese version) - the boss of Swamp Forest (Level 2)

* Hogg (Gaspar in Japanese version) - the boss of Hell Road (Level 3)

* Slice - the boss of Jack's Garage (Level 4)

* Morgan / Morgue - the boss of Village Of Flame (Level 5)

* Tyrog - the boss of Jungle and Mine (Level 6)

* Slisaurs - the bosses of The Vault (Level 7), they are "reptilian clones" of Slice (Level 4 Boss)

* Dr. Simon Fessenden - the boss of Deep Deep Down (Level 8)

Weapons are subdivided into 3 distinct classes: melee weapons, throwing weapons and firearms. Melee ones can have their attacks "delayed for extra damage", implying that the longer the player keeps the attack button pressed, the more damage it deals when hitting. Firearms, on the other hand, are mostly limited to their ammunition: when having their ammo fully depleted, they will lay on the ground (with exception of the Bazooka, which disappears right after), waiting for a reload, in which state they can be used as throwing weapons until reloaded (except for Rifle and M-16A1, which will be melee weapons). Bullet boxes will only reload firearms: if there are several firearms scattered around and the player grabs a bullet box, the first firearm picked up right after will be the reloaded one, with full ammo. Throwing weapons usually can be used only once, unless it can be used for melee attacks at close range (like Knife and a broken Rod).

* Firearms

o Pistol - standard firearm which does minimal damage, sometimes dropped by a defeated Walther. It holds 6 bullets.

o Shotgun - a powerful roomsweeper PGS-12-like firearm which can damage multiple enemies if these are "concentrated" within the gun's firing path. It holds 6 cartridges.

o Rifle - a "less-powerful-but-not-worse" variant of Shotgun, it can occur naturally or (very rarely) be dropped by defeated Poacher J. / Gutter / Skinner enemies. When out of ammo, a Rifle will serve as a melee weapon. It holds 6 bullets.

o Uzi - automatic rapid-firing sub-machinegun which can hold up to 48 bullets.

o M-16A1 - a firearm that occurs very rarely in the game. Holds up to 48 bullets just like the Uzi (but its shots are slightly more powerful than the former) and can be used as a melee weapon when out of ammo just like the Rifle.

o Bazooka - the rarest and most powerful weapon of the game. It only holds up 4 shots and vanishes instantly after expending its load, unless it's reloaded before the last shot is expired. The player will gain a Bazooka automatically by choosing to continue after losing his last life. Just like Grenade and TNT (see below), Bazooka shots can disintegrate to pieces enemies with low remaining health.

* Throwing weapons

o Grenade and TNT - very powerful. If used on enemies with low health, they will disintegate into pieces, just like Bazooka shots. These powerful explosives can appear on their own or dropped by defeated Punk / Thug enemies. Grenades can be thrown the same fashion as Stones (see below), and can even hit other enemies who are "horizontally aligned" within its throw trajectory; TNT bundles, on the other hand, can physically bash at enemies' heads before igniting into explosion.

o Barrel - both Steel Barrel (red) and Wood Barrel (brown) can be picked up and thrown at enemies if the player gets close enough to grab and lift it. Barrels usually contain useful items inside.

o TNT Barrel - it looks like a standard Steel Barrel or Wood Barrel, but players can easily distinguish it because of the red flashing on it. Once it is hit by anyone or anything, it starts to ignite and then explodes right a second after, damaging or disintegrating everybody caught in the radius of the blast. Just like default Barrels, TNT Barrels can be picked up and thrown.

o Bucket - a smaller Steel Barrel, it has the same uses of one.

o Stone - a fairly common but the weakest throwing weapon, each one can only be used a single time. It can hit multiple enemies if they are "aligned horizontally" just like the Grenade.

o Knife - for a distance it's a deadly throwing weapon; at close range (when it flashes orange in player's hands) it can be used to stab enemies only once - except fot Hannah, who can stab up to 3 times at melee range. These can be found naturally or dropped by Blade / Razor enemies.

* Melee weapons

o Rod - a purely melee weapon, it breaks in half after 3-5 hits, when it gains all functionalities of a Knife (see above), including Hannah's close-range stabbing ability.

o Torch - another rare weapon, it sets enemies on fire but, unlike Grenade or TNT, it does not disintegrate them in case of low health.

o Club - perhaps the second best weapon found through the game, it's basically like the Torch but without fire. It has the particularity of hitting the same enemy 2-3 times per strike, thus causing better damage.

o Butchery Knives - they only exist during the boss battle with The Butcher in Stage 2, and are melee only, just like Torch and Club. They are the only weapons which never disappear, due to The Butcher's constant use of them

Barnyard

Since it does not follow the script of the movie, the game instead allows the player to create a cow, boy or girl, and choose different fur colors and patterns. Once the character creation process is completed, the player can begin to do missions for other characters. They can also receive missions through their cell phones, via text message. In the beginning the player may only explore inside the barnyard, but after several of missions revolving around the main characters the player receives a key to the barnyard gate and a key for a bicycle, and the player is able to explore other parts of the neighborhood. Also, the missions cannot be skipped; they must be completed in order for the game to advance. Then, eventually, after a multitude of missions, the player will have to complete a boss level involving coyotes, and then the player finishes the game and is free to roam

There are many locations throughout the game.This lists several significant places.

* 1. Barnyard

This is where the game starts,and where many actions take place. You sleep here as well as save your game here, and meet many of the animals that are characters in the game. You are only allowed to roam here in the beginning,but as the game progresses,you'll see the other places mentioned.You can find the barn,which contains ice,chocolate,milk,cream,and butter.You can,however,only get them once per game day. It also contains the chicken coop,where you can get eggs,but you are restricted to 1 per day. The kitchen is where you can cook up meals. At night,the barn becomes a "Night Barn" which sort of resembles a night club. Here you can mix up drinks with the ingriedients you collect.The only fruit to be found here are apples.Also,in the Barnyard,is your shed.This is where you sleep and save your game.

* 2.Vegetable Patch

This is where you collect vegetables.The vegetables that are found here are strawberries,melons,pumpkins,carrots,and cabbage.To access this place,once you leave the barnyard,turn LEFT.At the next intersection,turn LEFT again.The entrance is on your right.

* 3.Dandelion Meadow

A meadow that has many flowers and a few hay bales but nothing else.Daisy and Bessy often sunbathe here.

* 4.Ben's Hill

A hill that overlooks the barnyard.It is one of Ben's favorite places.He will ask you up here several times in the course of the game.Later,after Ben's dies,he is buried up on this hill.

* 5.Dankweed Pond

A small pond adjacent to the Barnyard.Other than a few flowers,and a small pier,there is nothing else here.The path is a shortcut from Ben's hill to the barnyard.

* 6.Walnut Woods

A dense forest with tons of walnut trees where you can collect walnuts.The trees are along the East Path,NOT the walnut woods key path.The Walnut Woods key,though,lets you collect honey.

* 7.Old Mill

A mill that has a recipe rock inside it.The mill is very difficult to get in to.The path leads from the Dandelion Meadow to the Beady Farm.

* 8.Beady Farm

The neighbor's farm,which has cherries growing on it.The path goes from the old mill all the way to Izzy Springs.

* 9.Izzy Springs Golf Course

A 9 hole golf course.This is one of Otis's favorite places.It is accessible by the Beady Farm Path or the South Path.

* 10.Gopher Hill

A hill where the Gopher Underground Shop is located.To access,leave the barnyard and go STRAIGHT.It is not hard to climb.Just keep jumping.

* 11.Gopher Underground Shop

A shop that sells human objects.They sell a wide array of objects,from bike upgrades to disco dance floors.The shop is only accessible at night.

* 12.East Path

A path that starts near Gopher Hill ,goes through the Walnut Woods,and ends in the Beady Farm.You can find walnuts along this path.

* 13.South Path

A path that starts at Gopher Hill and ends at the back entrance to Izzy Springs.

* 14.Grizzly Gulch

This place is near the Junkyard.The North Path Runs through it.

* 15.North Path

This path starts at Dankweed Pond and ends on Ben's Hill,running through Grizzly Gulch

Everything you collect goes into your inventory.This should help you navigate through it.

* Cell Phone:Any animal who has a mission or invitation for you will send you a text message.You can know if you have a new message because every time there is one,an envelope icon appears on your screen.
* Knapsack:All raw food items go into here.You are allowed a maximum of 20 of each.
