Platoon

Platoon game fore pc is a 1986 American war film written and directed by Oliver Stone and stars Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe, Charlie Sheen & Keith David. It is the first of Stone's Vietnam War trilogy, followed by 1989's Born on the Fourth of July and 1993's Heaven & Earth.[1]
Stone wrote the story based upon his experiences as a U.S. infantryman in Vietnam, as a counter to the vision of the war portrayed in John Wayne's The Green Berets.[2] The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture of 1986. In 2007, the American Film Institute placed Platoon at #83 in their "AFI's 100 Years... 100 Movies" poll. British television channel Channel 4 voted Platoon as the 6th greatest war film ever made, behind Full Metal Jacket and ahead of A Bridge

Too Far
Plot

In 1967, Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) is a young American who has abandoned college for combat duty in Vietnam. Upon arrival, he sees dead soldiers in body bags being loaded into his plane. Taylor and several other replacements have been assigned to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, "somewhere near the Cambodian border." Worn down by the exhausting work and poor living conditions, his enthusiasm for the war wanes and he develops an admiration for the more experienced soldiers, despite their reluctance to extend their friendship.

One night while on ambush patrol, his sleeping unit is set upon by a squad of Vietnam People's Army (North Vietnamese Army, NVA) soldiers, who are forced to retreat following a gunfight. Gardner, a fellow new recruit, is killed, and another soldier, Tex, is maimed by "friendly fire" from a grenade thrown by Sergeant O'Neill (John C. McGinley). Despite having passed the watch duty to Junior, a more experienced soldier who fell asleep, Taylor is blamed for the casualties. Staff Sergeant Barnes (Tom Berenger) criticizes Taylor and holds him as a scapegoat, while Sergeant Elias (Willem Dafoe) defends Taylor. Taylor discovers a light wound to his neck, and he is sent to the field hospital for treatment.

Taylor returns to base from the hospital and gains acceptance from a tight-knit group in his unit (the "Heads") that socializes, dances, and consumes drugs in an underground clubhouse. He finds a mentor in a poorly-educated but wise veteran, King (Keith David). Next door, more conservative members of the unit drink beer and play cards. As the patrols continue, Taylor becomes a more seasoned soldier, no longer standing out amongst the others. During one patrol, a soldier (Manny) goes missing. His mutilated body is found tied to a post close by. Two other soldiers are killed by a booby trap while searching an abandoned bunker. The platoon soon reaches a nearby village, where a food and weapons cache is discovered. The soldiers explore the village. In one house, Taylor discovers a mentally and physically disabled young man and an elderly woman hiding in a ditch beneath the floor. Taylor "snaps," taunting the man and shooting at the ground before his foot, forcing him to "dance." Sergeant O'Neill, responding to the shots fired, tells the group to vacate the hut. Bunny (Kevin Dillon) turns to leave, then attacks the one-legged man with the butt of his shotgun, bludgeoning him to death.

Despite the villagers' denials, Barnes believes they are aiding Viet Cong soldiers and shoots a defiant woman (the village chief's wife) in the head. When the murdered woman's daughter cries out, Barnes takes the child at gunpoint, threatening to shoot her next if the villagers do not reveal the whereabouts of the Viet Cong. Sergeant Elias arrives and gets into a fistfight with Barnes over the incident. Second Lieutenant Wolfe (Mark Moses) ends the fight, and orders the men to burn the village. As the men leave, Taylor comes across a group of soldiers (including Morehouse, Bunny, Tony and Junior) raping a Vietnamese girl. Taylor stops the attack and rescues the girl.

Upon returning to base, Elias reports Barnes' actions to Captain Harris (Dale Dye), who cannot afford to remove Barnes due to a lack of personnel; he warns the sergeants to "cease fire." Harris says that if he found out an illegal killing took place, then "there will be a court-martial." Taylor speaks of this as "a civil war in the platoon. Half with Elias, half with Barnes." On their next patrol the platoon is ambushed and becomes pinned down in a firefight. Elias takes three men, including Taylor and Rhah, and goes to intercept flanking enemy troops. Barnes orders the rest of the platoon to retreat to be airlifted from the area, and goes back into the jungle to find Elias' group. After sending his men back, Barnes finds Elias, fires three rounds at Elias', hitting him, and leaves him for dead. Barnes reaches the helicopter, telling the others that Elias is dead. After they take off, a severely wounded Elias emerges from the jungle, running from a group of NVA soldiers. Taylor glances over at Barnes and reads the apprehension on his face as the helicopter circles in to rescue Elias. However, Elias dies before he can be rescued, after being hit several more times.

At the base, Taylor attempts to talk his group into killing Barnes in retaliation. A drunk Barnes overhears this, and enters the room, taunting and daring them to kill him. No one takes up the offer, but as Barnes leaves, Taylor attacks him. Barnes manages to get the upper hand, and holds a knife to Taylor's face. However, Rhah (Francesco Quinn) talks Barnes out of killing Taylor, so he leaves, but not before cutting him under the eye.

The platoon is later sent back to the ambush area in order to build and maintain heavy defensive positions against potential attack. Taylor shares a foxhole with Francis (Corey Glover). That night a large attack occurs, (Stone based the attack on a real life battle he survived) and the defensive lines are broken. Bunny, Junior, and Wolfe are killed, while O'Neill survives in his foxhole by hiding under a dead soldier. Captain Harris orders his air support to expend all remaining ordinance inside his perimeter. During the chaos, Barnes and Taylor come face-to-face. Just before Barnes can pummel Taylor, with his E-tool, both men are knocked unconscious by the napalm bursts. A wounded Taylor regains consciousness the next morning and finds Barnes, who is also wounded. Taylor aims an enemy AK-47 at Barnes, who dares him to pull the trigger. Taylor shoots Barnes three times in the torso, killing him. Taylor is about to commit suicide before American reinforcements encounter him. Taylor is loaded onto the helicopter. Francis, who survived the battle unharmed but deliberately stabbed himself, reminds Taylor that because they have been wounded twice, they can go home. O'Neill, who also survived the battle, is told he will replace Barnes. The helicopter flies away and Taylor weeps as he stares down at the destruction

The Matrix: Path of Neo

The Matrix: Path of Neo is the third video game based on the Matrix series and the second developed by Shiny Entertainment. Players control the character Neo, participating in scenes from the films. It was released on November 8, 2005 in North America.

In Shiny Entertainment's first licensed Matrix game, Enter the Matrix, only sideline characters were playable. It did not feature the series' main protagonist Neo, and due to its nature as an extension of the films' storyline, had few recreations of scenes in the film trilogy. David Perry, president of Shiny Entertainment Inc, has stated that Path of Neo is "basically the game that gamers wanted first time around... The Neo Game!

Story

This game allows the player to participate in many of the major action scenes in the films. Most of these sequences, picked by the movie directors themselves, are taken from the first film in the series.[4][5]

At the start of the game, the player is hacker Thomas Anderson, and does not possess any of the powers that the character will later discover as Neo. As the game continues, players learn new skills and techniques, equipping Neo for the final showdown with Agent Smith. These additional skills may be learned both in training levels and in the main game. Many of these skills are used by Neo in the trilogy, including the bullet dodge, bullet stop, and flight. A number of weapons are available in the game, consisting of both melee weapons (including various types of swords, staves, and escrimas) and firearms (assault rifle, submachine gun, pistol etc.).

The game also allows the player to meet many of the characters in the films, including Trinity, Morpheus and the Merovingian, amongst others.

The game uses film excerpts as cut scenes throughout the game at certain milestones. This footage includes clips from the original Matrix theatrical films, and from other sources, including the short film series, The Animatrix and Shiny Entertainment's first Matrix game, Enter the Matrix. Despite these live-action and other cinematic additions, players who have had no previous exposure to The Matrix films might have difficulties in creating a clear picture of the storyline due to their jumbled-up, incoherent sequence
Characters

Neo - The One, game protagonist and the character the player controls throughout the game.
Trinity - Neo's love interest and First mate on the Nebuchadnezzar.
Morpheus - Captain of the Nebuchadnezzar, he aids Neo at various points throughout the game (Laurence Fishburne is the only actor from the film series to reprise his character's voice in the game).
Agent Smith (later referred to as merely "Smith") - A program (later Exile) within the Matrix. He is the primary antagonist and Neo's arch-nemesis.
Apoc and Switch - Red pills. Apoc and Switch are helpful fighters who always try to kill.
Merovingian - Rules over a personal empire of exiles like himself.
Head Bouncer/Doberman Leader - Exile and Head Bouncer at Club Hel, a nightclub owned by the Merovingian. Leads the Doberman, a wolf-like group of henchmen.
Head of Security - Exile and the head of security at the Merovingian's Chateau. First encountered walking upside down on the ceiling in the gun-room of Club Hel, before disappearing (he is also encountered in the dream at the beginning of the game).
Rogue Witch - Exile, first encountered being tortured in the dungeons beneath the Merovingian's chateau. Frequently aids Neo throughout the distorted dimensions within the chateau.
Vamp Prime - Exile, leader of the vamp and Doberman exiles found in Downside Up within the Merovingian's chateau.
Witch leader - Exile, the Merovingian's "champion", who fights Neo in the final sequence before Neo can escape the Merovingian's chateau maze.
Agents - These are programs within the Matrix just like Smith. The original Agents are later replaced by upgraded versions.
Original Agents : Agent Smith (leader), Agent Brown, Agent Jones. Agent White appears in "The Security Guard" level, and he replaces Smith as leader of the Agents.
Upgraded Agents : Agent Johnson (leader), Agent Jackson, Agent Thompson.

Continuity changes

The game includes additional missions that extend the storyline of the theatrical film releases. While some of these are obviously solely for the benefit of game play, others seem to be based on scenes the Wachowskis planned to implement in the films (some of which can be found in The Art of The Matrix). These include:

An extension of the escape by Neo from the Metacortex building when he is first contacted by Morpheus. As in the film, though, the player is not required to escape and may be captured by the agents.
A series of training simulations taking place in the "construct", the Resistance's virtual reality; these instruct the player in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, and melee weapons.
An extended escape by the Nebuchadnezzar crew (sans Morpheus) through city sewers, ending with the temporary dispatching of Agent Brown by Neo in a fight while he is placing explosives. This event was not in the film, where the characters merely are seen leaving a manhole before heading to a TV repair shop.
An extended escape to the second hardline, detouring Neo into a damaged portion of the Matrix.
An extended fight with all three Agents after Neo is endowed with his powers as the One.
A series of five missions that fill in Neo's adventures in retrieving other "Potentials" (red-pills similar to Neo in ability to affect the Matrix) in the six-month period between Neo's retrieval from the Matrix power plant and the events of The Matrix Reloaded. The six-month period and the red-pill retrieval is noted in dialog between Morpheus and Commander Lock in their first meeting in The Matrix Reloaded (In the past six months...).
An extension of the fight between Neo and the three upgraded Agents, where Neo must also dispatch several SWAT team fighters.
A series of rescues that Neo must complete to see the various Zion ship captains to safety after their meeting (as shown at the start of The Matrix Reloaded).
An extension of the fight in the Merovingian's chateau, where Neo must solve a series of puzzles in the house (reminiscent of M. C. Escher surrealism) as well as battle in several fights.
An extended series of fights against the Smith clones in a church, a building closely resembling the Architect's quarters, and a version of the US Congress House of Representatives as the Keymaker attempts to get Neo and Morpheus to the final door to the Architect (a character seen only in film-derived cut scenes in the game).
The game changes the final battle between the enhanced Smith and Neo as seen at the conclusion of The Matrix Revolutions. Where Smith dominated the fight in the film, the fight's outcome depends purely on the player's capabilities.
The game also features a brand-new ending, because the Wachowski brothers felt the ending of The Matrix Revolutions would be a "lame" ending for a video game. It is an alternate ending, without the martyr-approach, where Neo kills Smith and then takes on the Mega-Smith, the final boss. Immediately before the final boss, the game is interrupted by the Wachowski Brothers (represented with single-color sprites similar to what might be found in a pre-8-bit game) who congratulate the player then explain their reasoning behind deviating from the movie's ending.
The player's final battle places Neo against the "MegaSmith", a gargantuan likeness of Smith composed of buildings, cars, Smith clones, and other debris from the city where the battle takes place. The player fights the Smith construct in a series of dodging thrown debris and plunging into the construct to severely damage sections of the Smith construct.
Following the battle, the game ends with the final cinematics from the conclusion of The Matrix Revolutions. Rather than the use of the film's next-to-final track, "Bridge of Immortality", from composer Don Davis's official score, the game's cut scenes use Queen's "We Are the Champions"

Shrek 2

Shrek 2 game for pc is a 2004 cross-platform video game based on the film of the same name. The game was developed by Luxoflux and published by Activision. The player is able to play as Shrek or nine of his friends throughout the game, and travel through 11 levels, while being able to switch between the 4 characters available in each level
Features
Hero Time

Hero time is the name given when only one character can complete a special task in a level. For example, Princess Fiona must capture birds for a pie by singing, Donkey must ride on Dragon to save Fiona in the carriage, sent tumbling down a hill by a spell casted by an evil witch, Little Red Riding Hood must fight the Fairy Godmother on conveyor belts as the others escape, Shrek throwing rioting peasants in the Police Patty Wagon, Gingy in Jack and Jill's Farm where he must climb the hill to fetch water from a well, Human Shrek and Horse Donkey in the mountain level where they must chase Fairy Godmother to save Snow White, Puss-in-boots must climb to the top of a waterfall, and Wolf must get a key to save Shrek, Donkey, and Puss-in-boots by surviving a Stairway of Doom

Characters
[edit] Playable

Shrek special: Lift, Shrek can lift items and dazed enemies. He is the Ogre protagonist of the game and is forced on an adventure to save his wife, Fiona from Fairy Godmother's plans. He is willing to fight any monster to prove to Fiona's father King Harold that he is worthy to be her husband. His Hero Time is in Far Far Away, throwing rioting peasants in the Patty Wagon. Voiced by Michael Gough.
Princess Fiona special: Time Slow, Time is slowed down to enhance her fighting, à la The Matrix. Fiona used to live in a tower until Shrek rescued her for Lord Farquad. The two fell in love and by a curse of a witch, Fiona was turned into an ogre for her love. Now she is joining her husband to Far Far Away to meet her parents. Her Hero Time is in Shrek's swamp. She sings with the birds in such a high pitch they explode for Grandma's pie, a reference to "Shrek". Voiced by Holly Fields.
Donkey special: Burro Blast, A powerful bucking kick. Donkey is Shreks closest friend and although a bit of a coward, he is willing to help Shrek in any adventure. He helped the big guy in saving Fiona and now wants to help stop Fairy Godmother and save the marriage. He is married to Dragon who unknown to him, is pregnant with his Donkey babies. His Hero Time comes in the Witch chase level. Really it can be said it is Dragon's Hero Time as she is the one who chases and saved Fiona from a lethal fall in an out of control carriage as Donkey rides on her back. Voiced by Mark Moseley.
Gingerbread Man special: Cookie toss, Cookies are thrown that attract enemies. Gingy is a Gingerbread man turned alive by his father the Muffin Man. He was captured by Lord Farquaad but now is ready to help his friend Shrek with his new adventure. In an attempt to help, he created a 20 foot little brother named Mongo. He got the group into the castle but slipped into the moat were Gingy is last seen morning his death. His Hero Time is in Jack's Farm where he must climb the hill to fetch water from Jack's well. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Lil' Red special: Poison Apple toss, Explosive apples are thrown. Red is a baseball pitcher who joins the group after hitch hiking with them to Far Far Away. Her Hero Time is in Fairy Godmother's factory. She uses her apples to hold back Godmother as the others escape. Voiced by Tara Strong.
Dragon: Dragon used to be the guardian of Fiona's castle but after being defeated by Donkey has now fallen in love with him. They are married and Dragon is pregnant with Donkey's six babies. Dragon only appears in Level 2, Donkey rides her during his Hero Time. Voiced by Frank Welker.
Puss in Boots special: Tightrope walking. Puss is an assassin paid by King Harold to kill Shrek. He is defeated and spared for help in the adventure. After all he ends up being one of Shrek's closest friends. His Hero Time is in the Road to the Farm level. He must use his tight rope special to bring the elevator down from the top of a waterfall. Voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
Big Bad Wolf special: Huff n' Puff, Enemies are blown away with a gust of wind. This comes in particularly useful when the character is fighting on high places, as it can instantaneously kill enemies by blowing them away. Wolf is a little resentful at going through such danger for Shrek but is actually quite proud of his power. He is one of the creatures who helps Gingy in the jailbreak. His Hero Time is in the Jailbreak level where he must climb the "Stairway of Doom" to save Shrek, Puss, and Donkey. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor (and Aron Warner reprising the role briefly in the game).
Tinkerbell special: Pixie Dust, Causes character to float. She helps Gingy plan the Jailbreak of Shrek, Puss, and Donkey and is quite quick to keep Wolf in line. Only seen in the Jailbreak level, she is the only playable character without a Hero Time. Voiced by Tara Strong.
Human Shrek and Horse Donkey special: Charge, Shrek and Donkey run faster than usual and Shrek attacks the target with his sword. After drinking a Happily Ever After potion. The two turn into a handsome hero and a noble steed. The potion effects the love of the drinker as well so Fiona reverted back to human form and Dragon turned into an unseen Pegasus. Their Hero Time is in the mountain level where they must chase Fairy Godmother to save Snow White
Bonus

King Harold: the father of Fiona. He expected to see Fiona married to Prince Charming but is shocked to find Shrek instead. He teams up with Fairy Godmother to get rid of Shrek so that Charming can take his place. He finally comes to terms with his daughter's love. Voiced by Michael Gough.
Mongo: The giant brother of Gingy, he is the only non-playable character to have a Hero Time in the second to last level. Human Shrek is the one doing the work but the Hero Time icon is Mongo so it is considered his. Voiced by Frank Welker.
Magic Mirror: Mirror appears at the beginning of every level to dictate the whereabouts between that connect the story. He also serves as a guide through the game and advises the team on what to do next. Voiced by Mel Fair.
Lil' Red's Grandma: She appears at the end of level 1, waiting for her chicken soup. She surprisingly looks like the Fairy Godmother, minus the wings, glasses, and wand. Voiced by Vanessa Marshall.
The Three Pigs: the three pigs are assigned to take care of Jack and Jill's farm while they are away but are too lazy to actually work so they request the help of the group in return for the package to sneak into Fairy Godmother's factory. They are afterwards captured during a jailbreak but saved by Gingy and a gang of creatures. Voiced by Cody Cameron.
Three Blind Mice: friends of Shrek. At the end of the first adventure, they were turned into horses to pull the carriage. On the way to Far Far Away, the three are turned back into mice as to serve as ingredients in witchery. The three remain mice but are captured during Shrek's jailbreak and are saved by Gingy and a group of creatures. Voiced by Chris Knights.
Seven Dwarves: these little workers must be saved by the group around Shrek's home. They are then seen again in the mountain pass, advising the team on how to get through in return for the rescue of Snow White. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Goat Brothers: three brothers living on the trail to Jack and Jill's farm. They require the group's help to return them to their homes after a few mishapes with trolls. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Snow White: captured in the mine. She is kidnapped by Fairy Godmother but is saved in Handsome Shrek and Steed Donkey's Hero Time.
Papa Bear: The father of the Bear Family. He is seen in Far Far Away as Mongo is in the city. Papa seems to be more worried about the cities well fare then the citizens. Voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
Queen Lillian: Only seen in the storybook intro to Far Far Away, she is Fiona and Shrek's mother and King Harold's wife.
Pinocchio: Pinocchio has one cameo in the game, in a movie still when you complete the bonus game Floating Floor
Villains

Fairy Godmother: the games antagonist. She is determined to see her son, Prince Charming, marry Fiona even if it means an ogre falls in the process. She has help from King Harold who owes her after she turned him from a frog to a prince for his wife Lillian. In the end she is defeated at the ball. Voiced by Jennifer Saunders.
Prince Charming: The son of Fairy Godmother and her right hand man. He feels cheated that Fiona married Shrek and wants her hand. He is defeated at the ball. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Leprechaun: This wee little man appears in every level to charge the group passage through coins or a service. He also sells upgrades that help the team in battle. In the second to last level he demands the group pay him a billion coins but without the money, Mongo steps on him. Voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
Monsieur Hood: found in Shrek's swamp. He tries to mug the gang but fails. Voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
Witch: a witch living on the trail to Far Far Away. She turned the horses back into mice to use in her witchery. Voiced by Vanessa Marshall.
Troll: he appears in 4 levels as an enemy or miniboss. Voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
Stone Warrior: This big bully lives inside of Mt. Grimm. He was an ordinary statue turned alive by the Fairy Godmother. But, Shrek, Donkey, Gingy, Wolf, and Puss in Boots eventually defeated him. Voiced by Frank Welker.
Lord Farquaad: The villain of the first film only makes a cameo on the path to Gingy's house as a statue fighting a statue of Dragon

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs

download game free pc mustapha full virsion

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs The Arcade Game (known in Japan as Cadillacs Kyouryuu Shin Seiki) is a 1992 arcade game released by Capcom. It is a beat 'em up based upon the comic Xenozoic Tales which was created by Mark Schultz in the late eighties. A TV series made after the game was released, though it wasn't a major success, and the Capcom game didn't have any relation with it as it was based entirely on the comic series. Not to be confused with the console and computer game Cadillacs and Dinosaurs: The Second Cataclysm made by Rocket Science Games but based on the same

game mustapha mostafa mustafa mostapha moustapha moustafa

Attributes: The "powerhouse" of the game, Mess equals to Mike Haggar from Final Fight series. Despite being slow he is the most powerful playable character in the game. His Diving Body Slam is powerful but not so functional, due to his poor jump ability. Players shall make good use of his throws, not only because they are especially powerful, but also to protect himself from enemy attacks, as all characters are invulnerble when performing a throw

Regular enemies

As in a typical beat' em up game, there are nasty enemies to oppose the players, described below.

* Bikers (Gneiss, Ferris and Driver) - the most basic enemies of the game, they are usually dim-witted, attacking mostly with punches, kicks and rarely with a flying kick. They also often drop several firearms when defeated. Gneiss enemies can appear on their "powered-up" motorcycles trying to run over the player. Gneiss wear blue with grey (complete with riding goggles), Ferris wear orange with grey, Driver wear black with green (having more life than his fellow friends).

Alternative names in Japanese version: Risk for Gneiss, Astro for Ferris and D.D. for Driver.

* Midgets (Punk and Thug) - very annoying small enemies. They are somewhat harder to deal with (and thus can be a real pain for most players) due to their smaller stature and bigger aggressiveness. They jump a lot and attack with fast punches and kicks, shoulder butts, jump kicks and even throwing grenades (for Punk) and TNT bundles (for Thug) - which they can drop when killed. Punk wears blue pants while Thug wears pumpkin pants.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Nitro for Punk and Turbo for Thug.

* Knife Men (Blade and Razor) - cruel guys skilled with butchery knives. They can attack both disarmed (with simple punches) and with their trademark knives - which they can use to stab or swipe, execute a jumping downward stab attack, throw them (the player can hit incoming knives to deflect them, thus allowing their use) and use a running swipe attack (which has good priority and shall not be confronted). These guys constantly drop their knives when killed. Blade wears yellow with navy blue and blonde hair, Razor wears lime green with graffiti and tanned skin.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

* Fat Guys (Black Elmer, Hammer Terhune and Wrench Terhune (commonly Blk Elmer, Hammer T. and Wrench T.)) - powerful obese enemies that can deal good damage if the player is not careful. These former American football players attack with basic punches and kicks, with addition of running shoulder charges and a painful jumping hip smash. In some occasions they will also disturb sleeping Shivats in order to wake them into rampage. They usually bring food in their pockets and smoke cigars when idle. Blk Elmer wears purple with blue clothing, Hammer T. wears gold with red clothing and Wrench T. wears white with green clothing.

Alternative names in Japanese version: James for Blk Elmer.

* Hunters (Poacher Joe (commonly Poacher J.), Gutter and Skinner) - the Black Marketeer's most favored gunmen, they are responsible for killing and selling dinosaur leather and bones for luxurious collectors at extorsive prices. These guys wear torn-down sweatshirts, near-discolored pants, climbing boots and hunting rifles (though they rarely fire them, and even more rare they drop their rifles when defeated). Their attacks include combos of rifle smacks with kicks, a rolling rifle smash, a hopping kick and the rare rifle shot. Gutter sports yellow sweatshirt, Poacher J has spinach-green and Skinner wears papaya-red.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Saturn for Gutter and Cobra for Skinner.

* Lash Terhune (commonly Lash T.) - tall built guys with leather clothing and a huge steel mace attached to a long rope. Lash T. has basic attacks with knee and his mace, plus a long-range mace fling that deals good damage against any careless victim, friend or foe. He also chews bubblegum after flinging his mace.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

* Walther - a minor variant of Vice Terhune (Stage 1 Boss), these guys lead the Black Marketeer's poachers in their incursions for killing dinosaurs. He makes his debut in Stage 3 and appears frequently through the game. This enemy has the same actions and skills of the default first boss, but is incredibly harder to fight. Sometimes, Walther drops his handgun when defeated.

Alternative names in Japanese version: Colt.

* Bludge - this Blanka-looking creature is a human-reptile hybrid created by Dr. Simon Fessenden himself. Being a reptilian, this foe is a formidable combination of strength and agility, possessing other characteristics such as long jumping kick, diving claw slash and acid spits. He can also grab the player with his tongue and slowly drain his/her health unless the player breaks free. Bludge can also eat objects laying on the ground to prevent their further use in battle (however, if he is killed quickly, the object can be recovered from his stomach before digestion).

Alternative names in Japanese version: Phantom.

* Tyrog 2 - just like Walther, this being is a lesser variant of Tyrog (Stage 6 Boss), and is fought only once (in the first scene of Stage 8). This hideous creature combines every action from all of Tyrog's 3 phases. Being a minor-level enemy, Tyrog 2 is easier to kill.

Alternative names in Japanese version: none.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs can be neutral or enemies in the game. When neutral they are in green color; when enraged or attacking they turn into red color; when "defeated" they return to green color and stop attacking, thus moving off screen. Having no allegiances, dinosaurs will attack anyone in their vicinity, player or enemy.

* Rock Hopper (commonly R. Hopper) - a kind of velociraptor. He is usually friendly until being attacked, and his claws and teeth are viciously powerful.

* Mack - a triceratops whose only attack is a painful charging headbutt. It's best to beat him when he stops charging.

* Zeke - a pteranodon which only uses airborne attacks fitting to his winged nature. He can be somewhat hard to hit. But, an easy way to spot it is by standing on his shadow, right below him, and strike right as it goes close to the ground.

* Shivat - a Tyrannosaurus-Rex, this 12 feet (3.7 m) behemoth is commonly found sleeping but will wake up in a rampage if disturbed by fat guys hitting him. Shivat has tremendously powerful biting attacks and causes minor ground shakes when walking. It is by far the hardest dinosaur to be calmed down, so players are advised not to let a Shivat being awakened.

Stage bosses

As is customary with beat' em up games, there is a boss at the end of every level. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs has 8 levels and of course 8 different bosses.

Hannah Dundee fights Vice Terhune (along with a Rock Hopper), the first boss of the game.

* Vice Terhune (commonly Vice T.) - the boss of City In The Sea (Level 1)

* The Butcher (Atomic in Japanese version) - the boss of Swamp Forest (Level 2)

* Hogg (Gaspar in Japanese version) - the boss of Hell Road (Level 3)

* Slice - the boss of Jack's Garage (Level 4)

* Morgan / Morgue - the boss of Village Of Flame (Level 5)

* Tyrog - the boss of Jungle and Mine (Level 6)

* Slisaurs - the bosses of The Vault (Level 7), they are "reptilian clones" of Slice (Level 4 Boss)

* Dr. Simon Fessenden - the boss of Deep Deep Down (Level 8)

Weapons are subdivided into 3 distinct classes: melee weapons, throwing weapons and firearms. Melee ones can have their attacks "delayed for extra damage", implying that the longer the player keeps the attack button pressed, the more damage it deals when hitting. Firearms, on the other hand, are mostly limited to their ammunition: when having their ammo fully depleted, they will lay on the ground (with exception of the Bazooka, which disappears right after), waiting for a reload, in which state they can be used as throwing weapons until reloaded (except for Rifle and M-16A1, which will be melee weapons). Bullet boxes will only reload firearms: if there are several firearms scattered around and the player grabs a bullet box, the first firearm picked up right after will be the reloaded one, with full ammo. Throwing weapons usually can be used only once, unless it can be used for melee attacks at close range (like Knife and a broken Rod).

* Firearms

o Pistol - standard firearm which does minimal damage, sometimes dropped by a defeated Walther. It holds 6 bullets.

o Shotgun - a powerful roomsweeper PGS-12-like firearm which can damage multiple enemies if these are "concentrated" within the gun's firing path. It holds 6 cartridges.

o Rifle - a "less-powerful-but-not-worse" variant of Shotgun, it can occur naturally or (very rarely) be dropped by defeated Poacher J. / Gutter / Skinner enemies. When out of ammo, a Rifle will serve as a melee weapon. It holds 6 bullets.

o Uzi - automatic rapid-firing sub-machinegun which can hold up to 48 bullets.

o M-16A1 - a firearm that occurs very rarely in the game. Holds up to 48 bullets just like the Uzi (but its shots are slightly more powerful than the former) and can be used as a melee weapon when out of ammo just like the Rifle.

o Bazooka - the rarest and most powerful weapon of the game. It only holds up 4 shots and vanishes instantly after expending its load, unless it's reloaded before the last shot is expired. The player will gain a Bazooka automatically by choosing to continue after losing his last life. Just like Grenade and TNT (see below), Bazooka shots can disintegrate to pieces enemies with low remaining health.

* Throwing weapons

o Grenade and TNT - very powerful. If used on enemies with low health, they will disintegate into pieces, just like Bazooka shots. These powerful explosives can appear on their own or dropped by defeated Punk / Thug enemies. Grenades can be thrown the same fashion as Stones (see below), and can even hit other enemies who are "horizontally aligned" within its throw trajectory; TNT bundles, on the other hand, can physically bash at enemies' heads before igniting into explosion.

o Barrel - both Steel Barrel (red) and Wood Barrel (brown) can be picked up and thrown at enemies if the player gets close enough to grab and lift it. Barrels usually contain useful items inside.

o TNT Barrel - it looks like a standard Steel Barrel or Wood Barrel, but players can easily distinguish it because of the red flashing on it. Once it is hit by anyone or anything, it starts to ignite and then explodes right a second after, damaging or disintegrating everybody caught in the radius of the blast. Just like default Barrels, TNT Barrels can be picked up and thrown.

o Bucket - a smaller Steel Barrel, it has the same uses of one.

o Stone - a fairly common but the weakest throwing weapon, each one can only be used a single time. It can hit multiple enemies if they are "aligned horizontally" just like the Grenade.

o Knife - for a distance it's a deadly throwing weapon; at close range (when it flashes orange in player's hands) it can be used to stab enemies only once - except fot Hannah, who can stab up to 3 times at melee range. These can be found naturally or dropped by Blade / Razor enemies.

* Melee weapons

o Rod - a purely melee weapon, it breaks in half after 3-5 hits, when it gains all functionalities of a Knife (see above), including Hannah's close-range stabbing ability.

o Torch - another rare weapon, it sets enemies on fire but, unlike Grenade or TNT, it does not disintegrate them in case of low health.

o Club - perhaps the second best weapon found through the game, it's basically like the Torch but without fire. It has the particularity of hitting the same enemy 2-3 times per strike, thus causing better damage.

o Butchery Knives - they only exist during the boss battle with The Butcher in Stage 2, and are melee only, just like Torch and Club. They are the only weapons which never disappear, due to The Butcher's constant use of them

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 free pc game full version download Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (GRAW 2) is the sequel to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. It expands on the game play of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and is the fourth installment in the popular Ghost Recon tactical shooter video game series, published by Ubisoft.

The game takes place in 2013 (although the back of the game's cover says, immediately after the events of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW), just south of the United States border, and deals with the conflict between a Mexican rebel group, Mexican loyalists, and the U.S. Army for a time span of 72 hours. A wide array of location types are included, featuring mountains, small towns, urban environments, and a large hydro-electric dam just north of the U.S.-Mexico border

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions

The game play is similar to the first GRAW, although some new features, like Eternal Eyes, have been added to improve gameplay. This makes the direction of friendly units much more accurate and effective. The squad A.I. is improved, with fewer problems occurring than in the last GRAW. Units will actively seek cover and descriptively call out targets (i.e. "behind the red car", or "under the green roof The game also features Crosscom 2.0
PC version

The PC version gameplay is vastly different from the console iterations, and plays out more similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, taking place from a first-person perspective and requiring the use of advanced tactics, and to some degree micro-managing of team mates. Developed by GRIN Interactive, and built on their proprietary engine called "Diesel 2.0", only a few in-game assets such as voice-overs and Cross-Com and Narcom videos remain the same. The overall story is also the same, but missions play out in a completely different manner. Overall game play has remained largely the same from Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (PC). The game also features Crosscom 2.0
Crosscom 2.0

Crosscom 2.0 is the latest version of the Crosscom technology that was first featured in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

One significant change is the addition of the improved Crosscom system, a battlefield information interlink between all friendly units, that now allows a full screen view of what any unit is seeing, and the ability to direct their movements from there or tell them to take out a specific target. It also adds many new commands including "Recon" and "Assault" modes. In "Recon" mode the AI will not attack the enemy unless they come under direct fire, which makes it easier to sneak past or set up ambushes for enemies. They will also use suppressed (silenced) weapons when available. The "Assault" mode makes the AI engage at will
Team Selection

In this release, the player can select each NPC to bring along for each mission rather than choosing a preselected team, as in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. Choosing the correct teammates plays an important role as certain teammates perform better on certain missions (e.g., choosing the anti-tank gunner to combat enemy armored vehicles). This decision is aided by an Intel screen that gives the player his objective and a rough estimation of the amount of enemies the team will face. Each time a new mission is started or the player regroups with the command vehicles over the course of the mission, the player will receive new Intel and can choose new teammates and rearm. Another feature is that the Riflemen have a different Assault Rifle each
Multiplayer

Unlike the first GRAW, players in the online multiplayer mode can be "downed", or critically injured, instead of killed. This gives teammates the opportunity to heal a downed teammate and prevent the other team from getting the point, although downed players can be shot and killed by players from the opposing team before they are healed. Characters can now "slide" into a crouched position while running, just like in the first GRAW. The ability to use cover like in the singleplayer mode has still not been added to the multiplayer mode. In multiplayer the player can choose from four weapon classes, including Rifleman, Grenadier, Automatic Rifleman, and Marksman. Choosing the rifleman class makes the player more proficient with rifles, the automatic rifleman more proficient with machine guns, and so on. Another new feature added to multiplayer is full-screen cross-com. As in singleplayer mode, the player can hold down the right button and bring up the fullscreen view. This can be used to view friendly players' views as well as the Drone, but cannot be used to give commands or manually fly the drone.

Games are created by Xbox Live and PlayStation Network users and can be up to 16 players, common game types are headquarters 8 v 8 or headquarters 5 v 5 pistols only. Split Screen is available on the console versions, which supports up to four players
Plot

The game begins in Ciudad Juárez, one day after the events of the first GRAW, where rebel activity has caused civil unrest throughout Mexico. Despite the death of Carlos Ontiveros in the first game, the insurgency has continued under the leadership of Juan de la Barrera, even spreading into other Latin American states, including Colombia, Honduras and Panama where rebel forces have effectively shut down the Panama Canal. The Ghosts are sent to Mexico by General Keating to investigate claims that the rebels are in possession of a dirty bomb, as well as prevent the rebellion from directly assaulting US soil. Politically Congress hasn't decided to take full military action against the rebels, so legally the Ghost Team "doesn't exist". Immediately after arriving in Mexico, the Ghosts are put to work destroying a sizable rebel position guarded by two large artillery pieces, enabling additional American forces to reach the main battle-zone. Shortly thereafter, Mitchell aids in an aerial attack against a rebel supply base from Blackhawk 5, annihilating two enemy weapons convoys in the process. The Ghosts also learn that de la Barrera has obtained old Ukrainian Red Star IV nuclear warheads. Combined with several medium-range, Pakistani-built Kashmira-II missiles stolen from cargo ships in the Canal, the rebels now possess the ability to destroy any major city in the United States.

With the WMD threat confirmed, the Ghosts travel to Ciudad Juárez to search for the nukes, and link up with loyalist Mexican Army troopers led by Colonel Jimenez. Aided by Mexican armored vehicles and American fighters, the Ghosts and their allies clear out much of the rebel presence from the city, neutralizing several checkpoints before crushing a rebel stronghold in the local marketplace. As the Mexican troops advance to secure the marketplace, however, an underground explosion rips through the district, killing the loyalist vanguard and flooding the area with deadly radiation. Mitchell's Team gets pinned down by a group of Rebel Tanks and is forced to call in an Air Strike to take them out, effectively destroying the United States' claims to not having any involvement in the conflict between Mexican and Rebels forces. Realizing that the market held one of the missing Red Star IV's and containment was lost, Keating orders a retreat. After linking back up with Jimenez and his soldiers, intelligence arrives suggesting that a local journalist with inside access to the rebel leadership knows the location of the remaining two nukes, and is willing to come forward and assist the Americans. Working with Jimenez's most elite troopers, the Ghosts destroy a series of anti-aircraft batteries and hold off a devastating rebel counterattack, enabling the journalist to be extracted safely, and the information she holds preserved. With all other assets devoted to protecting the reporter, Mitchell and his squad link up with Blackhawk 5 in front of a local church for evacuation.

Disaster strikes when Blackhawk 5 is crippled by enemy RPG fire and brought down, and the Ghosts, now cut off from rescue, are forced to defend themselves against a group of heavily-armed and highly-trained mercenaries assisting the rebels. Barely escaping the immediate warzone via Humvee, the vehicle is hunted down and destroyed by a rebel Havoc helicopter, killing the driver, PFC Provenanzo and incapacitating Mitchell's team members. Mitchell manages to escape aboard Blackhawk 9 with the aid of a Mexican soldier, before providing air support for the American salvage convoy sent to recover Blackhawk 5. Having captured both Lieutenant Rosen (Mitchell's friend and field runner) along with the remains of the helicopter, the rebels attempt to use this victory as a propaganda tool, claiming that the Americans were behind the deaths of the Mexican soldiers killed at the market place. Unfortunately for the rebels, the Ghosts shut down their attempts at media manipulation by destroying the Blackhawk wreckage (removing the evidence of the American loss), before storming a heavily-defended, mercenary-controlled hacienda to rescue Lieutenant Rosen, weathering a powerful reprisal from mercenary reinforcements before they can be extracted.

With the intelligence gathered from both the Mexican journalist and Lieutenant Rosen, the Americans finally have the location of the last two nukes, back in Ciudad Juárez. Destroying additional enemy anti-air defenses around the site, Mitchell leads one team of Ghosts to secure the exterior of the target building while a second unit of Ghosts, led by Derrick Parker, assaults the site directly. As Mitchell and his team bravely battles off a strong force of rebels, Bravo Team secures one of the nuclear weapons, but are stymied by de la Barrera, who escapes with the last warhead. Fighting through a densely-packed urban warzone, often faced with rebel APCs, machine-gun nests and anti-tank units along with the mercenaries, the Ghosts eventually punch through the enemy lines and kill de la Barrera, removing the rebel leadership, but do not find the last nuke. The mercenaries have taken it and intend on using it against the United States in a final act of revenge.

US intelligence finds out that the mercenaries plan to take the nukes to El Paso, Texas, in order to destroy a large dam and the city around it. The dam turns out to be on top of a major American military installation where the mercenaries successfully hacked the US anti-ballistic missile defense grid, leaving the country vulnerable to nuclear attack. Discovering that the nukes are not, in fact, in El Paso, the Ghosts return to Ciudad Juárez, fighting through the last, desperate enemy forces to discover the last warhead has been armed and installed in one of the Khasmira-II missiles. Mitchell and his team end up pinned down on a balcony overlooking the launch site. With little time to spare, and President Ballentine unwilling to destroy the entire city in order to neutralize the threat, the Americans try to use an EMP missile fired by air support to disable the launchers. However, Mitchell and his team are still in range of the blast, and General Keating hesitates on authorizing air support with friendly soldiers in the blast area. Keating tells Mitchell "Son, I can't ask you to do this," but Mitchell says "Sir, it's why you sent me here, you know this is the only way." An American fighter fires the EMP missile, eliminating the threat but catching the Ghosts directly in the blast. The view cuts to Mitchell falling back by the explosion, with faint voices from Mitchell's crosscom. Lieutenant Rosen's Blackhawk can be seen from this view, and while Keating and Rosen plead with him to stay alive, President Ballantine thanks him for saving the nation. Rosen's chopper hovers over Mitchell, Rosen appears on the crosscom saying "Soldier, you're going home" and the game then cuts to the credits.

Mitchell and his team survives, as he leads the JSF Forces in Tom Clancy's EndWar and some of his former team members serve as battalion commanders, which takes place after the events in Advanced Warfighter 2.[5] His survival is also confirmed in another Tom Clancy game, H.A.W.X., where the player provides close air support for Mitchell and his team in several missions seven years after the events of Advanced Warfighter 2

Galactic Assault Prisoner Of Power

Galactic Assault Prisoner Of Power free pc game full version download
.
Book setting

The novel is set in the 22nd century of the Noon Universe. Mankind is capable of near-instanteneous interstellar travel. Earth social organization is presumably Communist, and can be described as a highly technologically advanced anarchistic meritocracy.[citation needed]

There is no state structure, no institutionalized coercion (no police etc.), yet functioning of the society is safeguarded by raising everyone as responsible individuals, with guidance of a set of High Councils accepted by everyone in each particular field of activity.

It is a society of highly morally evolved individuals that has solved all of its material problems, knows no crime, feels no threats (except possibly from unchecked scientific exploration) and spends much of its efforts in scientific research (space exploration done mostly by volunteers), arts, education and caring for the young. Teachers are the most honorable profession.

One of the controversial occupations is progressor. They are agents embedded in less advanced humanoid civilizations in order to accelerate their development or resolve their problems. Progressors' methods range from rescuing local scientists and artists to overthrowing local governments.

The book is set on one such war-torn post-nuclear war planet, Saraksh, where a space-exploring Earth youth gets stuck after his rocket is first damaged and then blown up, forcing him on his journey of discovery and contact within a fascist society of one of the planet's countries.

Plot summary

The story describes the adventures of Maxim Kammerer. Kammerer is an amateur space explorer from Earth. This occupation is not considered serious and Kammerer is regarded as a failure by his friends and relatives. The novel starts when Kammerer accidentally discovers an unexplored planet Saraksh inhabited by a humanoid race. The level of technological development on the planet is similar to mid-20th century Earth. Recently, the planet had a nuclear and conventional war and the predicament of the population is dire. When Kammerer lands, the natives mistake his spaceship for a weapon and destroy it.

At first, Kammerer does not take his situation seriously. He imagines himself a Robinson Crusoe stranded on an island inhabited by primitive but friendly natives. He is looking forward to establishing contact and befriending the population of the planet. However, the reality turns out to be far from glamorous. Kammerer finds himself in the capital of a totalitarian state, perpetually at war with its neighbors. The population is governed by the oligarchy of Unknown Fathers through brutal police and military repression. The city is grim and polluted. Ordinary populace leads the life of privation and misery. What goes on around Kammerer does not make sense to him, since his own society is free from war, crime and material shortages.

Eventually, it is revealed that to maintain the loyalty of the population, the Fathers employ mind control broadcasts. The broadcast towers pepper the landscape of the country. The mind-altering capabilities of the towers are kept secret, they are disguised as ballistic missile defense installations. Constant broadcasts suppress the ability to evaluate information critically, hence making the omnipresent regime propaganda much more effective. In addition, twice a day, intense broadcasts relieve mental stress caused by the disconnect between the propaganda and the observed reality by inducing an outburst of blinding enthusiasm. The authors give a masterful description of this process at work, describing the thoughts of one of the characters as he switches from the state of peeved boredom and disdain for his superiors to the rapturous adoration of people around him and life in general.

A minority of the population are not susceptible to the broadcasts. In these people, the intense daily broadcasts induce horrible headache and seizures. The Unknown Fathers — the ruling oligarchs are in this minority. They pay for the power to control the people by intense personal suffering during the daily broadcasts. The people outside the power elite that are not susceptible to the broadcasts are branded degenerates or degens by the state. They are actively persecuted. When captured they are either executed or sent to prison. The renegade degens organized an underground resistance movement and try to fight back by destroying the broadcast towers. The resistance does not have any political or military program and the fighters are united mostly by their suffering and their hatred of the towers. However, the rank-and-file of the underground is unaware of the main purpose of the towers. Apparently, the underground leadership wants to capture the broadcast network and use it to seize the power in the state for themselves.

Kammerer, still not quite aware of the situation, gets enlisted in the military. He is required to execute captured "degens", one of them a woman. When he refuses, he is shot. Kammerer survives, joins the underground and participates in a futile attack on a broadcast tower. Captured, tried and sent to a concentration camp in the South, the same one where he made his landing, he's finally revealed the truth about the broadcast system by a fellow prisoner member of underground. Astonished and appalled by the revelation, Kammerer makes it his mission to rid the planet of the mind control broadcast system. Several of his schemes fail because the cure may be worse than the disease. He tries to organize an invasion by barbarian tribes from the inhospitable desert in the South. He then tries to contact the state's neighbor — the Island Empire. He abandons this plan after finding documents on a destroyed Empire submarine that describe mass killings and other atrocities that the Empire military perpetrates. He now focuses on trying to find and destroy the Control Center where the mind control broadcasts originate. Kammerer gets captured and is consigned to a penal battalion that is supposed to lead the invasion of the North. In this abortive action, most of his friends perish while Kammerer himself barely escapes annihilation in retaliatory nuclear blasts.

It turns out that Kammerer is not affected by the broadcasts in any way. A Father known as Smart realizes that and plots to use Kammerer to stage a coup and take over the power in the state. His plan is for Kammerer to capture the Control Center and use the mind control broadcasts to incapacitate the rivals and control the population. The Center is protected by intense local broadcasts that make it impossible for anyone but Kammerer to penetrate it. Initially, Kammerer plays along. However, after gaining access to the Center, instead of using it to gain power, Kammerer destroys it.

In the end of the novel it is revealed that one of the Fathers — Strannik (literally "Wanderer") - is a human progressor Rudolf Sikorski. Strannik was carefully preparing the operation to gradually improve the lot of the people of Saraksh. His plan was ruined by Kammerer's actions. Strannik catches Kammerer and lambastes him for his interference. Strannik describes the unanticipated consequences of Kammerer's rash actions: up to 20% of the people may die due to the withdrawal of the mind control transmissions on which they have become dependent; Saraksh faces famine, anarchy and invasion from the North. Strannik tells Kammerer to leave the planet. However, Kammerer refuses and stays to help Strannik stabilize the situation. Despite the upheavals that Saraksh has to go through, Kammerer is still glad he destroyed the Control Center because now the people are in charge of their own destiny

The King of Fighters XIII

The
King of Fighters XIII pc game full version download is the latest
installment of The King of Fighters series developed and published by
SNK Playmore. There was an official preview of the game that was held on
March 25, 2010 at Akihabara.[3] The game is also the conclusion of Ash
Crimson's story arc which started in The King of Fighters 2003.[4] The
game design director, Yamamoto, states that he wants the game to be
played by the fans of the series who would be able to use their
experience from previous titles. Additionally, however, he does not want
the game to be too similar to its predecessors, though he and his
staff's aim for the game is to capture the charm from previous titles.

SNK
Playmore confirmed that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console versions
is in the works and will be released in 2011 in Japan.[6] Atlus also
confirmed that they will publish the game on October 27, 2011 in North
America

The
game removes some of the gameplay systems used in the previous game;
the Guard attack system, the Critical Counter system, the Clash System
as well as the dynamic, zooming camera. In their place however, there
are new systems that have been confirmed to be added, the first of the
three is the new EX Mode, which convert each characters' super moves
into more powerful versions that allows one bar from the player's power
gauge for EX Special Moves and two bars from the player's power gauge
for EX Desperation Moves. Another new addition is Hyper Drive mode,
which gives the player unlimited use of Drive Cancels for a while once
the Hyper Drive Gauge has been maxed, and the last new feature confirmed
for the game is the Drive Cancel system, which opens up new combo
possibilities. The game also marks the return of the multi-bar power
gauge that was introduced in The King of Fighters '97.[4] In addition to
standard and EX Desperation Moves, a new class of Desperation Move
entitled "NEO MAX" are included in the game and require that three
stocks of gauge be exchanged in order to perform one, making it similar
to Hidden Desperation Moves (The King of Fighters 2002) and Leader
Desperation Moves (The King of Fighters 2003). These can also be
canceled from standard Desperation Moves, making them similar to the
"Dream Cancels" from The King of Fighters XI

The
roster of The King of Fighters XIII will feature all the characters who
appeared in The King of Fighters XII, including the two
console-exclusive characters, Elisabeth Branctorche and Mature. In
addition, at the Akihabara event, three new characters were announced in
the form of The King of Fighters '94 Women's Team (Yuri Sakazaki, King,
and Mai Shiranui).[8] Unlike The King of Fighters XII, all of the
characters will be organized into proper teams this time with the
exception of Ash, who is now a single entry character.[9]

On
April 22, 2010, Famitsu reported the addition of two new characters to
the game: Vice for Iori Yagami's team and Takuma Sakazaki for the Art of
Fighting team. The official website was soon updated with the changes
as well as adding a storyline for Iori's team,[9] and on the April 23,
2010 location test at Hong Kong, Hwa Jai from Fatal Fury: King of
Fighters has been confirmed to be in the game as the final member of Kim
Kaphwan's team.[10] The first member of the final team, K', was
revealed on April 30 with his addition to the roster page.[9] Maxima was
also revealed as the second member of K's Team via addition to the
roster page on May 7 and one week later, the final character for K's
Team, Kula Diamond, was introduced in the same way.[9]

During
intermission screens, a mysterious man who calls himself "Saiki" is
seen talking to the other members of "Those From the Past", the
organization who has been pursuing the power of the Orochi. Saiki has a
similar appearance to Ash Crimson, only wearing a purely white outfit
and having his hair untied. Furthermore, the tournament host is revealed
to be Rose Bernstein, whose mind is being controlled by Those From the
Past (specifically the one named "Botan"). Saiki appears to be the
manipulator behind the events of The King of Fighters XIII and the final
boss battle of the game is against his true state (much like previous
bosses Mukai and Magaki have human forms as well as transformed states

Plot

The
game takes place after The King of Fighters XI. The fighter Ash Crimson
has absorbed the powers from two of the descendants of the clans who
sealed the Orochi away 1,800 years ago, Chizuru Kagura and Iori Yagami,
while Kyo Kusanagi is to be his last victim. As Elisabeth Blanctorche
prepares to stop Ash, fighters receive an invitation to another King of
Fighters tournament hosted by a person labelled as "R".[11]

When
the winning team enters the Rose Stadium at the end of the game, Saiki
puts his work into motion. He freezes time and he and the rest of the
members of Those From the Past confront the winners. Saiki tells the
other members to complete their tasks but Mukai requests an opportunity
to engage the winners on behalf of Saiki. Despite being a show of
loyalty, Saiki is perturbed by Mukai's insubordination and coldly kills
him by absorbing his powers. Then Saiki transforms into his ascended
state and the fight begins with the winners. Saiki intends to use the
energy expended by the winning team to enable him to cross time.
However, as the fight rages, Botan notes that the gate that links them
to the past is starting to close despite the battle. Before Saiki can
act, he is ambushed by Ash Crimson, who steals his power. It is revealed
then that, while Ash was enlisted by Saiki to obtain the Three Sacred
Treasures to power the time gate, Ash had no intention of helping Saiki.
Ash is suddenly overtaken by Saiki's persona, who then attempts to
cross the time gate in Ash's body. The winning team pursues him into the
time gate and the final battle of KOF XIII begins inside the time gate
with Ash's corrupted form. Saiki is defeated in the gate but persists on
crossing over to the past, believing it means nothing since he can
return to the past and then cross the gate again to attempt his plan
anew. However, Ash halts his attempt and allows the gate to close,
leaving Saiki trapped in the present. Furthermore, Ash reveals that he
is a descendant of Saiki. By locking Saiki out of the gate, he denies
Saiki's existence in the past and forces his own existence to cease. As
Ash vanishes from the living world, the flow of time resumes, just
before making amends with Elizabeth who recognizes Ash's sacrifice and
mourns, holding his head band, the only thing left of his existence
